Registration Forms and Deadlines
How to Apply. The law school offers three programs. To reserve your place in the programs, you must complete the registration form and return it to the Law Registrar's office along with either a $300 nonrefundable deposit for one program or a $600 nonrefundable deposit for two programs. The nonrefundable deposit will be applied against your tuition. An eligible law student may enroll in the London program and then go to either the Venice or Vienna programs, taking two courses for six credits over the two months in Europe.

Law School grade transcripts
For non-Wake Forest law students, you should submit transcripts as part of your application. We require an original, current, certified transcript from your law school.
Letter of Good standing from your law school dean
For non-Wake Forest law students, we also require that you submit a "letter of good standing" from your law school Dean.
$300 Non-Refundable deposit for each summer program course
This deposit should be included with your application. The deposit will be applied against your tuition if you are accepted. We will accept a check or money order made payable in U.S. currency to: Wake Forest University School of Law. We will return the check only if you are not accepted to the program.
Tuition and financial aid
Tuition is $2,500 per program for WFU students and $3,100 per program for non-Wake students. Housing, airfare, and meals are not included.

Program participants information sheet
Both Wake Forest students and students from other law schools should download and print the Program participants Information Sheet which you must complete and turn in with your registration. This form provides the law school with information about you and how we may contact you.
International Student ID
All students ( including non-Wake Forest students) who are participating in any Wake Forest summer abroad program must apply for an International Student ID.
Health questionnaire for participation in study abroad programs
All Wake Forest law students and students from other law schools should download and print the Health Questionnaire for participation in study abroad programs offered by Wake Forest which you must complete, sign and turn in with your registration.
Assumption of risk and release form
All Wake Forest law students and law students from other law schools should download and print the Assumption of Risk and Release Form which you must complete, sign and turn in with your registration. This form is a legal document, so please read it carefully.
FERPA form
Non-Wake Forest law students should download and print the FERPA Form which you must complete and sign. This form permits you to give your consent for the release of specified records that may assist you in making applications or be of benefit to you for other purposes. This form also permits you to limit the release of directory information about you. This form does not restrict the release of information as provided by FERPA; it does, however, permit you to authorize the release of information that cannot otherwise be released without your consent. In accordance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (“FERPA”), it is the policy of the Law School generally to maintain the confidentiality of students’ education records, and not to release these records to third parties unless the student consents in advance or release is authorized by FERPA.
Deadlines
You should submit your application with a non-refundable deposit. Students submitting applications and deposits by 5pm on Friday, November 20, 2009 will be given priority over those who register at a later date. If there are more Wake Forest students making their deposits during the registration period than there are places in the programs, first preference will be to make certain as many students as possible get to go to at least one program. Then a lottery will be held to create an initial waiting list. The balance of tuition for the programs in which you are enrolled is April 9, 2010.

Cancellations and refunds
We have never canceled a summer program, but if we must, we will advise you and fully refund your deposit and tuition.
Accessibility issues
European cities are not as accessible to individuals with disabilities as are U.S. cities. This is particularly so for Venice. If you are concerned about this, please contact us.
