The Venice Summer Program
July 5, 2010 - July 29, 2010
The Summer program in Venice runs for four weeks, typically during the month of July. Two courses are offered, each for three credit hours, and are comprehensible to students who have completed their first year of law school.
The program introduces students to topics of European and comparative law. Classes are taught at the University of Venice and include Italian students. In the past students have visited courts, law offices, government buildings, sites around the Venetian lagoon-- according to the content of the courses taught.
The program is open to Wake Forest law students, as well as law students from other U.S. law schools. Interested Italian students should contact either of the program's co-directors, Dr. Laura Forlati at the University of Padua or Dr. Fabrizio Marrella at the University of Venice.
