Alumni Council
The Law Alumni Council is the consultative alumni board of the law school, representing the school’s 5,300 alumni. The Council is composed of 39 members who serve three-year terms, and it acts as the primary vehicle for alumni to communicate their ideas, questions and concerns to the school. The Council is a working body, with committees assigned to Admissions, Career Services, and Development, so it functions as the law school’s best source of alumni input and feedback. The Council meets three times a year: in the fall (on campus), in the spring (on campus), and for a three-day, off-site leadership conference in the summer.
A slate of new members was recently electde to the Law Alumni council. The names of 8 alumni were approved by the council to begin serving new terms on July 1, 2007.
