| Description: | Triad-area entrepreneurs who need legal advice for a small business or nonprofit but lack access to other professional services can receive assistance free of charge on Thursday, Sept. 10 from noon to 3:30 p.m. at the Wake Forest University School of Law's Community Law and Business Clinic located downtown in the historic Wachovia building at 8 W. Third St., Suite 100A. The CL&BC provides pro bono legal and business consultancy services to small business owners and nonprofit organizations. Clinic students provide services such as drafting incorporation documents, employment agreements and purchase agreements with vendors to non-profit organizations and to entrepreneurs. Business owners can schedule a time to meet with a third-year law student and receive business consulting by calling (336) 631-1953, or can walk in the office between noon and 3:30 p.m. on "Ask A Lawyer Day." In addition to Sept. 10, "Ask A Lawyer Day" events will be held on Sept. 24, Oct. 8, Oct. 29 and Nov. 12 at the same time and location. |
