| Description: | Donna Gerson, Attorney and Author, will discuss the changing rules of law firm recruiting and job search strategies specifically for the small firm market. If you want to work for a small firm during the summer or after graduation, come gather resources for identifying small firms and learn what they look for in candidates and how to reach them. Donna is a contributing editor for Student Lawyer magazine (American Bar Association). She is also the author of several books on legal career issues, including Choosing Small, Choosing Smart, Building Career Connections and the new Asked and Answered series published by Thomson Reuters. After clerking for a judge in Philadelphia, Donna worked as a litigator in Pittsburgh before joining the Career Services Office at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She served as the director of the Career Services Office for seven years before becoming a full-time writer and speaker. RSVP in Symplicity.
