Liz McCurry Johnson
Liz McCurry Johnson serves as Reference Librarian, as well as an Instructor of Legal Research for the first year Legal Analysis, Writing and Research course. Additionally, she teaches a seminar research course, Health and Medical Research for Lawyers. Her teaching and scholarship are concentrated in the areas of the use of technology in the legal academy, outreach services provided by libraries, and teaching practice-centered legal research. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. She is also an active member in the North Carolina Bar Association, Southeastern Chapter of American Association of Law Libraries, and American Association of Law Libraries. She earned her B.A. degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, her M.L.S. degree, summa cum laude, from North Carolina Central University and her J.D. degree from North Carolina Central School of Law.
