Ellen Murphy

Adjunct Professor of Law
Program Director for Concord Law School�s Small Business Practice LLM


Ellen Murphy ('02) teaches professional responsibility. She is the founder and owner of iteravi, LLC, an instructional design firm providing customized eLearning solutions for individual learning communities. She has extensive experience in the eLearning and mLearning industries as a teacher, administrator and student. Her work includes curriculum creation and design, graduate program development, and teaching in synchronous and blended platforms, as well as face-to-face using web-supported tools. She is also a co-developer and director of Concord Law School's Small Business Practice LLM, a graduate law program for practicing attorneys. A former corporate lawyer and non-profit executive director, she developed and teaches the first course for non-lawyer professionals in legal masters programs on contemporary ethical questions in the practice of law and the comparative issues in other professions. She is a 2014 candidate for the Master's in Instructional Technologies (a fully online progam) from N.C. State University. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. Immediately after graduation, she served as a clerk to the Honorable Frank J. Magill, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in Fargo, N.D.
