English Proficiency and TOEFL Requiremets
The law school requires an official score report of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum score required by the law school is 600 for the paper-based test, 250 for the computer-based test, or 100 for the internet-based test. However, we prefer to admit applicants whose TOEFL scores are above this minimum because of the extensive reading and writing requirements necessary to satisfactorily complete this graduate law program. We do not expect all international students to be perfectly fluent in English; however, it is clear that student with serious language limitations will encounter great difficulty meeting the rigorous academic requirements.
It is possible that your acceptance to the LLM program could be conditional, pending satisfactory completion of an approved, intensive course in English as a second language. More...
