Orientation Program
Our two-day orientation program for new LLM students begins in mid-August before regular classes begin. The orientation introduces you to the law school, the University and the city of Winston-Salem.
We also suggest that, once accepted, you may consider more detailed summer orientation programs. Other programs focusing on cultural orientation that are near Wake Forest:
- Duke University Fuqua School of Business Summer Program in Business Communication and Culture (one and a half-hour drive from Winston-Salem)
- Interlink Language Center Program on Academic Preparation in Cultural Orientation at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (half-hour drive from Winston-Salem)
Our LLM students have also reported positive experiences with other programs:
- International Law Institute Washington, D.C.
- Foundations of American Law and Legal Education at Georgetown University Law Center
- Orientation in US Law at University of California--Davis.
The Wake Forest University Center for International Studies provides comprehensive services for all international students at Wake Forest, including LLM students.
