  • Early in the fall the class tours a North Carolina state court system, observes a trial in progress, and is able to enter into dialogue with judges and other court officials.
  • During the spring semester the class attends two oral arguments at the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C. and tours the U.S. Supreme Court building.
  • To top off the academic year, the class spends a day at the U.S. Federal Court, Middle District of North Carolina in Greensboro observing portions of both a civil and a criminal trial. The class also hears presentations from the FBI, the U.S. Secret Service, and the Clerk of Court.
