Amine Seifert joins WFU Law School Office of Career Services

June 18, 2009

Amine Seifert is the new Associate Director of Career Services at Wake Forest University School of Law.

Seifert was the assistant director of the Office of Career Services from 2004-2008. She replaces Faye Fulk, who retired last month after 31 years at the university. In her new role, Seifert will counsel students as they search for a summer job or post-law school career. She will help design career plans, assist with the on-campus interview program, welcome alumni back to the law school when they return to interview students, make contacts with law offices in job development, and work with students to ensure they reach their career goals. Additional duties will include the management of career educational programming and the coordination several off-campus interview programs across the county.

The Office of Career Services is dedicated to working with students, alumni and employers to facilitate the career development, job search and recruitment process.

“The candidate we selected had the most legal career services experience of the entire applicant pool,” said Kim Fields, director of Career Services.

Seifert has worked for two separate law school career services offices for a total of six years and developed excellent rapport with students and employers at both schools. In addition, she worked one year in the undergraduate Career Services Office at the University of Virginia.

Seifert has a M.Ed. in counselor education from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s in psychology from Wake Forest University.
