Legal Services

Wake Forest University School of Law provides free legal services to eligible clients seeking assistance in a variety of practice areas. Legal services are provided by second- and third-year law students working under the supervision of a licensed attorney during the academic year.

Areas of Practice

Consumer Transactions - We handle transactions such as foreclosures, consumer disputes, and contract issues.
Elder Law - For clients over the age of 60, we prepare wills and powers of attorney, handle guardianship cases, and other health and consumer law matters.
Nonprofits - From concept, to start-up, to operations, we can help your nonprofit navigate a range of legal challenges.
Small Businesses - We help small businesses and startups on topics from protecting your ideas from infringement, to the feasibility of your business model, choice of entity, and employment-related matters.
Veterans Services - We provide North Carolina military personnel with representation for issues related to a "bad paper" discharge involving post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, or another mental health disorder.
