Jaya Gokhale

Professor of Practice

Jaya Gokhalé has had an eclectic career as a litigator with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom; a regulator with NASD and its successor FINRA; and a scholar and university professor of South and Southeast Asian Politics and History. Her research interests include regulatory policy and enforcement in the securities industry; comparative legal philosophy and ideas of justice; and literature as a medium of social change. At WFU Law she teaches courses on Broker Dealer Regulation, Securities Regulation, and Business Drafting.
