Reciprocity Policy

The Career Services Office offers a policy of “reciprocity” to students and graduates of other ABA accredited law schools, which provide reciprocal services to students and graduates of Wake Forest University School of Law. All reciprocity requests must be made in writing (or via email to: Amine Seifert- seiferat@wfu.edu) by an official of the student/graduate’s career services office prior to any visit. A copy of the reciprocity policy of the requesting school should be included as well as an address or email address for the student or graduate seeking reciprocity privileges.
Please note the following conditions of reciprocity:
- Reciprocity is available for a 3-month period. Requests for renewal will be evaluated on an individual basis. Reciprocity will not be granted from August 1 to November 15, due to the demands of fall recruiting.
- Reciprocity is limited to third-year students and graduates seeking permanent employment in North Carolina, except at the discretion of the Director.
- Graduates: Reciprocal services granted to graduates include reference materials and publications in the office and a 3-month subscription to the Alumni Job Bulletin. (Note: Wake Forest University School of Law is a member of the BYU Intercollegiate Job Bank. If you only seek access to our job postings and your school participates in BYU's Intercollegiate Job Bank, then you do not need to request reciprocity as our Alumni Job Bulletin is accessible through that site.)
- Third- Year Students: Reciprocity services granted to students include access to reference materials and publications in the office. Student job listings are not provided to non-Wake Forest law students.
- Requests for privileges in addition to those stated above shall be granted at the discretion of the Career Services Office.
- Without exception, students and graduates of other schools are not permitted to participate in on- or off-campus interview programs or resume referral services.
