Wake Forest University is committed to equal opportunity education and employment and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, handicap or disability. This policy must also be adhered to by all persons, companies and organizations recruiting at Wake Forest University School of Law. The Association of American Law Schools has taken the position that the current employment practices of the United States Armed Services do discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, and has granted a limited exemption to permit Armed Services representatives to recruit on campus due to the potential loss of funding to the University that would result from the Solomon Amendment.
