At Wake Forest Law, there are many ways to help fund the cost of your education. When you apply to our JD and LLM programs, you are automatically considered for a number of merit-based scholarships. Additionally, there are other options, including federal and private student loans, VA education benefits, and on-campus employment opportunities. 

Winston-Salem is known for its affordability. The city is ranked among the top 3 metros nationally for overall value and housing affordability. The cost of living in Winston-Salem is 9% lower than the national average, with housing costs being approximately 30% less than the national average.

FAFSA & Loan Acceptance

October 1: FAFSA becomes available for the upcoming year.

July 1: FAFSA should be completed/renewed and loans accepted (or private loans requested through the lender) prior to July 1 for loans to appear as a pending credit on the July billing statement for fall semester.
