Yellow Ribbon

Proud Participant of the Yellow Ribbon Program badge, representing Veterans Benefits

Wake Forest University School of Law is proud to be a participant of the Yellow Ribbon program. To be considered for a Wake Forest Law Yellow Ribbon award, you must be eligible for the maximum benefit rate under the Post-9/11 GI Bill® (100% eligibility tier) as determined by the VA.

Yellow Ribbon can be awarded once the tuition and fee cap for Post 9/11 funds has been reached for the academic year. The 2024-25 Post 9/11 cap is $28,937.09. The cap resets annually on August 1. Yellow Ribbon cannot exceed net tuition and fees. Slots are unlimited for Yellow Ribbon recipients who attend the law school, with no cap on the dollar amount per student.

As of August 1, 2022, active-duty service members, and spouses of active-duty service members using transferred benefits, may qualify for the Yellow Ribbon program.
