Extraordinary client service is the defining characteristic of Alison Ashe-Card’s legal career. She now brings that devotion to client service to the Office of Career and Professional Development where she serves as an Associate Director. Prior to joining the staff at the law school, Alison’s practice focused on high profile product liability cases in federal and state courts nation-wide. She also has extensive experience in utilizing technological innovations to formulate efficient and cost-effective approaches to case/matter management in complex litigation and transactional matters.
Alison began her career as a staff attorney with The Legal Assistance Foundation of Chicago, where she practiced for five years before relocating to North Carolina in 1997. She devotes countless hours every year to community and pro bono service. Alison’s devotion to career and community was recognized in 2012, when she was selected as the recipient of the Lifetime Community Service Award from DRI, the Voice of the Defense Bar. This award is given annually to one attorney nationally for public service. Alison is the first North Carolina attorney to win this award.
