Randall Galyon

Adjunct Professor of Law

Randall Galyon graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in Political Science in 1991 and from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1996. AUSA Galyon worked in private practice for several months before joining the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office in January of 1997. He worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Forsyth County for five years, primarily in superior court handling felony cases, including robbery, serious assaults and capital murder. Randall joined the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of North Carolina in January of 2002 as an AUSA handling general felonies. Since 2003, Randall has been assigned to the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) Section. He served as the Lead OCDETF Attorney from 2014 to December of 2019. He has also served as the supervisor for the Winston-Salem Branch Office since January of 2010.
