Tanya Marsh joined the Wake Forest faculty in 2010, following a ten-year career practicing real estate and corporate law in Indianapolis, Indiana, including nearly five years as the Vice President of Legal for Kite Realty Group Trust, a real estate investment trust traded on the NYSE. Tanya teaches real estate transactions and property. Her most recent article, Sometimes Blackacre IS a Widget: Rethinking Commercial Real Estate Contract Remedies, was published by the Nebraska Law Review in July 2010. Tanya is involved in the leadership of the American Bar Association – Real Property Trust & Estates Section and is a frequent contributor to the section’s CLE offerings. She is an enthusiastic genealogist and amateur historian. Tanya and her husband Blane Sherman have two sons: Liam and Riley.
