Gwen Parker

Visiting Assistant Professor of Law


Gwen Parker teaches environmental law and land use regulation. She has many years of experience in environmental law and policy, class actions, government investigations, and toxic torts. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Vermont, Gwen holds a master’s degree in Resource Economics and Policy from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she was an editor of the Stanford Environmental Law Journal and a member of Stanford’s team at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. She is a past co-chair of the National Association of Environmental Law Societies (NAELS) and has contributed to the ABA Section on Environment, Energy & Resources’ Year in Review: International Environmental Law. A native of Morrisville, Vermont, Gwen now lives with her husband and two sons in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
